Job Title: Behavioral Aide for Foster Children and Families

Location: We service 14 counties in Georgia. Burke, Columbia, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Screven, Taliaferro, Warren, Washington, and Wilkes.

Position Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time]

Hourly Rate: $17 per hour

Job Description:

Infiniti Consulting Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Behavioral Aide to support foster children and their families. As a Behavioral Aide, you will work closely with children and families to implement behavioral interventions, provide support, and foster positive change. Your role will include assisting children in managing their behaviors and reinforcing strategies designed to improve emotional and social functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide one-on-one support to foster children in both home and community settings.

– Implement individualized behavioral plans and interventions as directed by case managers or behavioral specialists.

– Assist children in developing coping skills, positive behaviors, and emotional regulation.

– Engage with families to provide support, guidance, and education on behavioral strategies.

– Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and other relevant information.

– Write detailed case notes and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with agency guidelines.

– Attend team meetings to discuss client progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.

– Provide feedback and collaborate with supervisors, case managers, and other team members to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in psychology, social work, or related field is a plus.

– Must be dependable, reliable, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.

– Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (criminal, child abuse, and other relevant checks).

– Comfortable writing clear, concise case notes and documenting client progress.

– Previous experience working with children, particularly in a behavioral or therapeutic role, is preferred but not required.

– Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with children, families, and team members.

– Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care and discretion.

– Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help foster children and their families succeed.

– Pay rate: $17 per hour.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Therapist to join our team. This position focuses on providing therapy and counseling services to foster children and their families in-person, directly in their homes or other community settings. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Social Work (MSW), significant experience in child and family therapy, and a passion for working with vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to foster children and their families to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
  • Conduct in-home assessments and evaluations of clients to determine therapeutic needs and treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments, goals, and ongoing progress.
  • Collaborate with social workers, foster parents, and other professionals to coordinate care and support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Offer crisis intervention when necessary and provide resources for additional support services.
  • Educate foster families on effective parenting strategies and ways to support their children’s mental and emotional well-being.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, trainings, and case consultations as required.
  • Stay current on best practices in therapeutic techniques, trauma-informed care, and developments in the field of child welfare and foster care.

Important Note: This is NOT a virtual position. The therapist must be comfortable conducting therapy sessions in clients’ homes and in community settings as needed. The ability to engage with clients in these environments is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience providing therapeutic services to children and families, preferably in the foster care system or a similar setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong therapeutic skills in individual, family, and group therapy.
    • Ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and families.
    • Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and attachment theory.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and travel to clients’ homes or other community locations.
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
    • Comfort with providing services in a variety of settings, including clients’ homes.
